Get To Know Janelle and Find Out How Bloom’n Coffee Was Born
Janelle is from a small town in Victoria called Daylesford and bursts the joy and passion of a small town vibe.
She moved to Queensland in 2006 to complete what felt like endless years of study, character building and travel.
After working across many domains of the social services industry, her love for coffee never strayed far from her mind. In fact, it often distracted her.
She began working at Lola Coffee in Woolloongabba in 2016 where she met her now-friend and mentor Corinne Chilcott, a well-known coffee enthusiast who is also a leader in the coffee world. From here, she merged her two loves: people and coffee.
Whilst still working in the community sector and for Lola, Janelle met Dan from DHC Coffee with the goal of creating a social enterprise for young people.
In 2019 Janelle knew it was time to work on something of her own, and so the dream of Bloom'n began.
Bloom'n Coffee officially took flight in July 2020 serving Cold Brew under a marquee. Bloom'n then added their first coffee machine and realised it was time to find a more mobile solution. Miss Honey - the little white trailer was born.
After opening a pop-up cafe in May 2021 and building a loyal customer base in Loganholme, Bloom'n Coffee started a new and exciting relationship with a well-known clothing brand, LSKD.
"As the LSKD values closely align with ours, it seemed fitting for us to close the doors of the cafe and move around the corner to work with them".
Bloom'n Coffee now operates back inside the trailer from the car park of LSKD HQ, ensuring that regulars, newbies, locals, customers, and staff can enjoy the menu six days a week.
The menu features freshly baked pastries, locally made desserts, and always-pouring DHC Coffee.

us. Making someone smile can make someones day.
